Meet The Timberline Family Dental Team

Dr. Jason Brown was raised in West Des Moines, IA and graduated from Valley High School.

Following graduation, he attended Iowa State University, where he played four years of varsity ice hockey. Playing as a forward in 2007, he helped the Cyclones win the CSCHL tournament in his senior year.

Dr. Brown then went on to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2011 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Brown has since been practicing general dentistry throughout the Des Moines area including Pleasant Hill, Bondurant, Urbandale, and Ames.

Dr. Brown is passionate about all aspects of dentistry with emphasis in cosmetic dentistry. He has completed various continuing education programs in his own time to continue to excel in aesthetic dentistry, complex surgical extraction, endodontics, and implant placement with the most update research and practice techniques.

He has obtained both Invisalign certification as well as Dental Laser certification.

Dr. Brown is currently a member with the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and the Des Moines Dental Society.

Dr. Brown currently lives in Waukee with his wife and three beautiful children, son, Chael, and identical twin daughters, Raegan and Remington. They also have two family dogs, Ruby and Jazz. He enjoys physical fitness, being outside, playing hockey, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.

Morgan Brown, ARNP grew up in Urbandale and graduated from Dowling Catholic High School.

She started nursing school at Mercy College of Health Sciences and began her passion of caring for others by working as a nurse’s aide at Methodist Hospital.

After becoming a registered nurse, she started her professional career in Pediatric Oncology at Blank Children’s Hospital, where she cared for children with cancer for eight years. During employment there, Morgan continued her education and earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree and eventually her Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license through the graduate program at Chamberlain University.

She has always lived and worked in the Des Moines area and is currently practicing as an ARNP at Broadlawns Medical Center.

Morgan then became certified and currently practices as a licensed Botox injector. She offers Botox to patients through her own LLC, Injectable Solutions, for aesthetic purposes and is currently taking patients at Timberline Family Dental. Morgan is also fulfilling a managerial role at Timberline Family Dental as well.

Morgan and Dr. Jason Brown married in 2013 and enjoy making memories with their family of five. They have a son and identical twin girls, Chael, Raegan, and Remington. She enjoys exercising and leading a healthy lifestyle, traveling, reading, and spending time with family.

Tamara was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and raised in Ames, Iowa. She attended Ames High School, Iowa State University, and went on to graduate from the Dental Hygiene Program at DMACC in 2001. Tamara’s mom was a hygienist in Ames, which sparked her interest in the field. She began dental assisting at the age of 15. Tamara has a continued passion for providing the best care for her patients.

Tamara has two dogs, Stella, and Ollie. She enjoys golfing, going on bike rides with her husband Andrew, and spending time with friends. Tamara has also been a season ticket holder to the Broadway Series at the Civic Center in Des Moines for years.

Shirley was born in Bloomfield, Iowa, and later moved with her family to Tipton, Iowa where then went on to graduate.

She has always loved the medical/dental field. She was an Optician for 20 years before getting into Dental and has been doing it for 26 years. She retired 4 years ago but missed the patients, and her fellow teammates that came back to do what she loves.

She enjoys traveling with her husband, and spending her winters in their home in Arizona. In Shirley’s spare time, she enjoys being with her 3 grandchildren and going to their various sporting events. She has one very spoiled dog, Bentley, who loves to go wherever her, and her husband go.

Halee is from Anita, Iowa and graduated from CAM High School. After graduation she moved to Ames, Iowa to study at DMACC. Halee has been interested in the dental field since high school and has always loved helping people. She enjoys meeting with patients and giving them a comfortable and positive experience.

In her free time, Halee likes to run and hike. She also likes to spend time with friends and try new restaurants in the Des Moines area.

Amy was born and raised in the Des Moines area. She grew up in Clive and went on to raise her family there.  She graduated from Valley High School and Grandview University with a degree in Communications and Journalism. After working in non-for-profit and the marketing fields for many years, she took time off to be at home with her growing family. Reentering the workforce, she wanted to find a field where she could work one on one with people and feel like she was making a difference. The dental field was a perfect fit! She enjoys interacting with and welcoming patients. Most importantly, she loves seeing before and after results, and the difference a healthy and beautiful smile can have on patients.  

Amy and her husband Patrick have 3 children, one grandchild and a goldendoodle puppy, Stella. She and her husband love to travel and try the newest restaurants around town.  In her free time, you can find her cheering on the cheering on the Hawkeyes, gardening, walking and enjoying time with her granddaughter, Isla.
